  15. SYMPTOMS
  16. ========

  18. Windows NT may hang on disk 9 during Setup when an AccuLogic IDE controller
  19. is installed and the ROM BIOS on this controller is enabled.
  20.  
  21. If you install from a CD-ROM, an Unexpected DOS Error 11 may occur within
  22. Windows NT when it accesses the floppy disk drive. This error message has
  23. been seen while installing the Windows NT Service Pack 1.
  24.  
  25. CAUSE
  26. =====
  27.  
  28. This problem occurs when the AccuLogic IDE controller is configured with
  29. the ROM BIOS enabled. The On-Board BIOS is typically used for IDE drive
  30. types not directly supported by the systems ROM BIOS (that is, the
  31. AccuLogic ROM BIOS is enabled).

  33. RESOLUTION
  34. ==========
  35.  
  36. If your computers BIOS supports an IDE drive type that is similar to your
  37. IDE hard drives actual or logical characteristics, it may be possible to
  38. disable the AccuLogic ROM BIOS and use your computers ROM BIOS to support
  39. the drive. This would allow setup from floppy to run successfully and will
  40. avoid the Unexpected DOS Error.
